In a context where environmental and regulatory requirements are becoming increasingly stringent, Goyer introduces Fair\u2019Fa\u00e7ade Goyer \u00ae a groundbreaking innovation in the field of lightweight fa\u00e7ades.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This concept combines a timber structure with an aluminium external skin, achieving a balance between thermal performance, durability, fire safety, and up to 45% reduction in carbon footprint compared with a traditional all-aluminium fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed as a hybrid block fa\u00e7ade, Fair\u2019Fa\u00e7ade Goyer \u00ae<\/strong> is based on an insulated timber frame module, complemented by an outer aluminium cladding made from recycled sources, which provides both weather protection and architectural aesthetics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally developed for office buildings, the system was subjected to a LEPIR II full-scale fire test, which confirmed that the chosen construction principles effectively limit fire spread along the fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To achieve these results, the opaque parts contributing to the C+D zones are composed of mineral wool insulation, and a steel sheet lining on the interior, which can also be finished with a wood panel for aesthetic purposes. The junctions between modules are carefully designed to ensure continuity of performance, while slab-edge sealing follows the principles set out in Technical Instruction IT 249 on fa\u00e7ades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The results of this test confirm the relevance of the Fair\u2019Fa\u00e7ade Goyer \u00ae<\/strong> concept and open up new possibilities for hybrid fa\u00e7ade systems in residential buildings and public establishments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
