Allianz Teknik Earthquake and Fire Testing and Training Center started operating on 15 October 2019 at the Turkish-German University campus in Beykoz, Istanbul. Efectis Era Avrasya provided the installation consultancy and managed the accreditation process.

Allianz Teknik has a total area of 2,500 m2, comprising a closed area of 1,400 m2 and an open area of 1,100 m2. The centre consists of ten main sections: earthquake laboratory, earthquake training hall, conference hall with earthquake simulation, edok and spray rooms, fire training hall, fire pump room, smoke escape simulation room, clean fire simulation, and finally a fire reaction laboratory.

As stated, the prime ambition of the centre is to contribute towards raising awareness of the social risk of earthquakes and fires. Acting together with professional institutions and universities, this centre will provide services such as training of qualified technicians and engineers in the public and private sectors, preparation of scientific programs for university students, giving information on and preparing education programmes and activities for young people and children. The process is supported by Efectis Era Avrasya, which will provide the test and training consultancy services for a certain period of time.
