You can check if a test report is accepted internationally by following the steps below.

1- Accreditation of the Laboratory

The laboratory performing the test must be accredited by the authorized accreditation body of the relevant country. For example, the accreditation status of the laboratory can be verified through the official websites of institutions such as TÜRKAK in Türkiye, COFRAC in France, UKAS in the UK, and RvA in the Netherlands.

In addition, for the test report to be internationally accepted, it is essential that the accreditation body is a signatory to the ILAC MRA (Mutual Recognition Agreement). This can be verified on the ILAC website (https://ilac.org).

2- Compliance of the Scope of Accreditation

It must also be confirmed that the laboratory’s accreditation scope covers the specific test method and standard applied. An accredited laboratory is only authorized to perform the tests defined within its accreditation scope.

3- Validity of the Test Report

Only test reports issued by accredited laboratories are considered valid. Reports prepared directly by manufacturers themselves do not have official validity.

Therefore, the accreditation number and laboratory details indicated on the test report must be verified using the methods mentioned above.

Furthermore, there is a possibility that the content of the report may have been damaged or changed after issuance.
